I have known the Cinnamon family since my teaching days when Mom and I taught together. She has always had that glowing smile you see here, and the amazing ability to light up a room with her laughter. I was beyond excited when Mom decide to do a session to commemorate this incredible milestone as their oldest heads off to college in a few weeks. Mom’s vision for this session was, as she put it so perfectly: “That we can capture the fun we have when we are together so that we can remember when we are apart.” So that is exactly what we set out to do. The goal on my end was to make sure we ended up with plenty of images that show how much FUN this family is. You truly can not be around them without smiling.

We met in Wilmette for our sunset session and we had a serious blast! Photographing the big “kids” is just an awesome way to do something different than my norm. Mom told me that she loves how her kiddos can make each other laugh, and that they did. Not only did they crack each other up, but they had their parents cracking up too. I love this image below- truly when I look at this one it screams the Cinnamon family. Their love, their laughter, their happiness… I am so lucky to have been chosen to capture it all.
Mom’s vision was to capture this beautiful moment in time so that in a few weeks they can look at these and feel their love and joy when big bro heads of to college!
