Photographing another photographer’s family can be nerve-wracking… Especially a photographer whose work I admire. We, as photographers… scratch that… we, as humans, have a tendency to be overly critical of ourselves and to do that comparison thing, that doesn’t usually help us out in the long run. Now, take that comparison thing and photograph a photographer who is not only uber-talented, but also super sweet, and a great mommy… Allow me to hold my breath as I scroll through the images from our session and just hope that I captured her family as well as she captured mine (click here to view her beautiful work!)
Here is a sneak peek of a few moments from our session, since I know her goal for the session was the same as mine… “I would love images of us being a family, interacting. I’m not in very many photos so I’d love to get some of me interacting with the kids.” Hope these do the trick 🙂
Thanks for letting me photograph your beautiful family and for doing the same for me! I think all photographers should make sure to step behind the lens as often as possible- it is great to feel what our clients feel on the “other side.”
