sneak peek: and one on the way…

You may remember this cutie from her summer session (click here).  Well, she is about to become the biggest sister as this family welcomes baby #3 in just a few weeks.  We had a great in-home session today, and even braved the cold for a few outdoor shots.   I can’t wait to see if this...

personal post: 3… going on 13.

Just an image that I captured yesterday of my own spunky 3 1/2 year old!  She usually has gorgeous ringlets, but she insisted that I straighten her hair.  This photo made me stop in my tracks because I think I caught a glimpse into her teenage years, and yes, I’m terrified! 🙂

sigh.

You may remember the sneak peek from this session when you click here.   Looking back at these images to gather a few for this post, I remember just how much I loved photographing these two.  I love the colors, the lighting, the scenery, but most of all, I just love seeing how they look at...

beautiful colors and happy kids.

Meet Jessie

evanston studio photographer 35

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
