cake smash sweet offer.

This week I had a fabulous cake smash session.  I always love the cake smashes- the way those tiny fingers discover the feel of frosting and the complete love (or sometimes the utter disgust, in the case of my own children) of the cake on their lips. So, I’ve decided to offer an especially SWEET...

sneak peek: mixed emotions.

Let me start by saying I love this family.  I love that I have only known them since Big Brother was 5 months old, yet I feel like I’ve known them forever.  I also love our photo sessions… even the ones we did way back when I was starting out as a photographer.  The lighting...

contagious smile.

I’ve said it before and I am sure I’ll say it again and again… I am SO incredibly lucky that my job involves looking at, photographing, and playing with cuties like this one.   I dare you to look at this picture and to not smile back at her.  Can’t do it, can ya?

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
