sneak peek: she couldn’t wait.

When I last photographed this family, they were a family of three.  They just welcomed a new baby girl to the family and she absolutely couldn’t wait to arrive… By that I mean she was almost born in the car, on the way to the hospital.  I believe she was born just 8 minutes after...

sneak peek: don’t be jealous.

Don’t be jealous, but I got to spend my early morning yesterday with this smiling face.  When I last saw him (here), he was just as adorable, but far less talkative.   He chatted away during the entire mini session, and my favorite thing he said was “tickle tickle.”  Seriously, this smile saying “tickle, tickle”?   Mom...

touching.

I love this family.  I have photographed their immediate family quite a few times.  This session was a little different… Prior to photographing this little guys’ 1st birthday party (watch for a whole blog post from the party soon), we decided to take a few shots with Grandma and Grandpa.  One of my absolute favorite...

so long, for now.

infectious grins.

You may remember this beautiful family from their sneak peek that was posted here.  They all have such infectious smiles that I found myself smiling while blogging this session. I loved photographing this family and can’t wait to watch them as they continue to grow into gorgeous, young ladies.   They were sweet, funny, and I...

Meet Jessie

evanston studio photographer 35

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
