evolving.

I think most photographers would say that their style is constantly evolving.  I know that photography, for me, feels new and fresh with each photo session because every family is different.  I love photographing family moments- and I try to avoid repeating “poses that work” so that I am truly capturing families as they are....

sneak peek: deja vu.

I am so honored when I am invited back to clients homes, to continue to photograph their life events and to capture their family moments for them.  I adore looking back at previous sessions, and literally watching kids grow and change before my eyes.  For this session, I could not believe how much baby brother...

sneak peek: adventurous.

This adorable family was so much fun to photograph.  These sweet and funny girls were ready to explore from the second our session started, which made for a mini session full of games and laughter.   Just as a side note, I love their fashion sense- colors, textures, style and the coordination works together perfectly!   Can’t...

in loving memory.

sneak peek: from this… to this.

It is hard to believe that 6 months have passed since I photographed this beautiful girl as a newborn… and now, look at her.  She is literally all smiles.  I adore photographing this age and working with her and her 2 big sisters could not have been any more fun.   As much as I loved...

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
