I don’t like New Year’s Resolutions.  There, I said it.  I know that makes me sound like a horrible person, so let me explain.   I don’t like that there is one day each year when you are “supposed” to come up with ways to make yourself, your life, your relationships better.   I constantly try to...

Last week my family took a vacation to the happiest place on Earth…. Disney World.  There are just no words to describe how wonderful this trip was.  For my daughters (4 years old and 2 1/2) Disney World was truly magical- as in jaws wide open, gazing, waking up early, full of excitement kind of...

stunning.

It isn’t often that I choose to blog black & white images; however when I was preparing this gallery, I was just in awe of how simply gorgeous and classic these looked in black and white.  This family is beautiful, both inside and out, so it was not at all surprising that I adored this...

Meet Jessie

evanston studio photographer 35

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
