a glimpse at the sweet boutique mini-sessions.

Wow, I am overwhelmed and so very grateful… When I announced these sweet boutique mini-sessions, I really wasn’t sure if these sessions would fly, and not only did they fly, but I had non-stop sessions for 2 days!  I loved every minute of photographing these beautiful families and I am so appreciative for those of...

the big reveal: sweet boutique mini-sessions.

So, if you follow me on Facebook (click here), you would know that I’ve spent the last few days prepping you for a big announcement.  So, without further ado, here it is: I’ve always dreamed of doing a photo shoot in a candy shop, but not just any candy shop… one that is brightly colored,...

one.

You arrived one year ago today, on 11/12/13.  I was supposed to be induced at 5 am, but at 1:15 am, I went into labor.  I was almost ready, just not quite, because I thought I still had a few more hours to “sleep” (you know, that 9 months pregnant sleep isn’t really sleep anyway). ...

what a weekend!

It is safe to say that the weekend full of mini-sessions went off without a hitch.  The weather was absolutely unbelievable.   The lighting was fabulous.  But, most importantly, it was a weekend packed full of smiling faces and happy families.   I always love my job, but weekends like this make me love it even more. ...

not ready for the cold, yet.

You probably remember this adorable family (click here).   Well, here are just a “few” more images from our session… ok, a lot more images from our session.  Gear up, it’s a big one! You still with me?  Ok, good.  ‘Cause I have a “few” more. Thanks for sticking with me!  Totally worth it, wasn’t it? ...

Meet Jessie

evanston studio photographer 35

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
