sneak peek: tiptoeing into spring.

Could it be that we are actually, finally, really really entering spring?  After quite a few burst of warm weather, right back into temps in the 40’s, I know we are all eagerly anticipating warmth and sunshine.  These cuties were fabulous sports, even with drizzly weather and lots of mosquitoes.   Last session we had, they...

five.

I remember when she was two years old.  There were moments (lots of them) where I wasn’t sure I would make it… make it through what, I didn’t know.   A day?  An hour?  Sometimes even that minute, I suppose.  She was “that kid.”  The one who had knock down, drag out tantrums in the middle...

behind, and trying to catch up.

So today, I was working on cleaning out my personal email, as well as my professional email inbox.  I noticed that I had emails in my inbox that dated back to January 15th, which is very unlike me.   When I looked back at my calendar, I noticed that January 15th was the date that my...

sneak peek: little mr. expressive.

For being just 3 months old, this adorable guy had the most expressive little faces, and the most incredible BIG blue eyes ever!  I loved meeting him and his fabulous Mommy this week and can’t wait to see how much he grows and changes by our 6 month session. Can’t wait to share more from...

and the winners are…

Thank you so much for all of your votes… It sure was fun for me to look back at all of those fabulous sessions from 2014 and I can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces again this year! And now, without further ado, I present to you the winner and runner-up of the...

Meet Jessie

evanston studio photographer 35

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
