It is finally time for the jessie hearn photography “best of 2016” photo contest!  This is the 5th year I have done this contest and I always adore compiling my clients’ favorite images from their sessions and putting them together for you to see.  It has been such an incredible year and I am so...

seems like forever ago.

We got super lucky with an exceptionally pleasant fall this year, which meant lots of beach sessions!   Although it really was just a few months ago, it sure does seem like forever ago since I have stepped foot on a beach.  This session was a pure delight, and I know I have shared a...

My sweetest boy turns three today. He lights up my life brighter than the sun in the sky. Meet Jessie

evanston studio photographer 35

I love photography; I always have. I remember waiting anxiously at the drugstore so that I could rush home with my new pictures and carefully put them into frames and photo albums.

Even though 20 years have passed and digital cameras changed photography, my feelings and excitement are the same. I still race home after a shoot to look at every image and relive each moment of our session.

My goal is to combine the emotion that I feel with every click of the camera with your family as you actually are: smiling, laughing, even crying. I strive to find the true essence of who you are and capture these moments for you for a lifetime. Your family, as you are, smiling, laughing, even crying, but mainly just being yourselves.
