Way back when, I posted these engagement photos of my first cousin and his wonderful bride-to-be. Well, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, the wedding was this past weekend! Not only did we survive cross-country travel without a hitch, a phenomenal weekend full of family fun, but the wedding was truly spectacular. I would not have expected any less from an interior decorator, yet I was still blown away by all of the incredible touches that fit together perfectly. And to top it off, it was an evening filled with love- you could just feel it in the room.
I have never photographed a wedding, and honestly don’t plan to (although I’ll never say never). However, I just have to share a few images from the night because this look of pure happiness on their faces is the reason that I’d imagine most wedding photographers find it hard to imagine photographing anything else! Congrats to S and R. Wishing you a lifetime of love, health, and happiness.

Just as a side note, for any photographers reading this blog- this image was taken in a nearly dark room, illuminated by one light and the mini lights from above. ISO 6400, 1/160/ 2.2. Canon 5D Mark III, oh how I love you!
