I love photographing all ages, but I must admit that the 6-10 month range is at the top of my list of favorite ages to photograph. They are just so expressive and can’t run away from me yet 😉 Especially this cute little guy- I feel like his facial expressions just say a million words! I felt so lucky to have met and photographed this family… they are the Chicago branch of an equally wonderful family who I photograph in Champaign. We had such a great morning just playing at home- reading in silly voices, singing songs, and of course, playing with toes.

Does this little guy seem quite formal for a morning of fun at home? Well, I learned that dad is an awesome guy who wears a tie to the park as he embraces the challenge of being a stay at home dad- I love it! This sweet boy was a delight to photography and I can’t wait to see how he changes when I see him again for his 1 year session. Thank you for welcoming me into your home- I truly loved meeting you all!
